Diego Perotti expects Roma to make “a serious challenge for the Scudetto” in the coming season.
The Giallorossi finished third last season, but lost just once in the League after Luciano Spalletti replaced Rudi Garcia in January.
“I expect us to be making a serious challenge for the Scudetto after the way we ended the season last year,” Perotti said in a Press conference at the pre-season training camp in Pinzolo.

“This team is capable of doing that. We can fight with Juventus, Inter,Milan and anyone else for that top spot. I have faith in my teammates.”
Miralem Pjanic said in his introduction at Juventus that he “can understand” they consistently finish above his former team.
“I read about it but I didn't hear him say that myself, so I don't know what he actually said. Sometimes words get altered a bit when people report them.
“In any case, if that's what he thinks it's up to him. I don't want to get caught up in any controversy.
“Pjanic is a top player and him not being around anymore is a big loss but we'll carry on regardless. No one is indispensable in football.”
