Ivan Perisic’s agent reportedly visited Manchester United today to update them on Inter’s plans to offer a contract extension.
It looks as if Jose Mourinho’s bid for the Croatia international is dead in the water, but there is still a chance.
According to FCInterNews.it, agent Fali Ramadani was in Manchester today to visit Mourinho and the Old Trafford directors.
He was there to update them on the situation, as Inter have offered a contract extension to keep Perisic at San Siro until 2021.

The salary would be €5m per year, which is a vast improvement on his current €3.5m per year wage, but still a long way off the kind of money Manchester United are proposing.
Inter have held firm on their asking price of €50-55m for Perisic and won’t drop below that, though the Red Devils never went above €45m, including bonuses.
It’s likely Ramadani made his case to Manchester United to find out if they were planning another approach or if the winger may as well sign the new Inter deal.
