“Juventus have a mentality and way of playing that is superior to the others. Certainly it is not easy to repeat [success], but here is the ability of Conte.
“He has managed to keep alive after two years of success the same hunger for victory.”
Conte yesterday received a second successive Panchina d’Oro award, just pipping Vincenzo Montella, who he will meet three times in the next four games across League and Europa League matches between Juve and Fiorentina.
“I compliment Montella and I am sorry that he has come in second to Conte. We must recognise the work that he is doing because in spite of the many difficulties and serious injuries, his Fiorentina have a way of playing that is spot on for football.
“On paper, Juve may have something more, but the games in Europe have a different taste and you cannot afford the slightest mistake.
“Fiorentina also are the only team to have beaten Juventus. This is a different game.”
