Peres charged with drink driving

Roma defender Bruno Peres has been charged with drink driving after crashing his Lamborghini.

Peres was involved in the second road accident of his Roma career during the early hours of Monday morning, although he suffered no injuries.

La Repubblica reports the Brazilian underwent a breathalyser test, which showed he had an alcohol level of 2g in his blood – 1.5g more than the legal limit.

Consequently, he would have been fined €800 and summoned to training by Roma on their day-off, working with only their fitness coach.
