Alvaro Pereira' s move from Porto to Inter is finally official, after the relevant documents were lodged with the Lega Serie A.
The speedy Uruguayan fullback flew in to Italy last Friday but the Nerazzurri only confirmed his signature this afternoon, with a notice on their website.
Formerly of Romanian club Cluj, Pereira won an array of honours during his time with Porto, including two League titles, two Portuguese Cups, four Portuguese Super Cups and one Europa League.
The transfer is expected to cost Inter €13.5m in total.
