Lorenzo Pellegrini and Marash Kumbulla were back in training with the rest of their teammates at Roma today, two important recoveries ahead of a busy schedule.
Jose Mourinho has been given news ahead of the return to Serie A football, with the Giallorossi preparing to play Genoa this weekend.
Pellegrini, who pulled out of the Italy squad due to injury, seems to have recovered from the knee injury in time for the trip to Liguria.
He missed the two games against Switzerland and Northern Ireland, but is back in training and SportItalia believes he will be available against Andriy Shevchenko’s Genoa.
Kumbulla has also returned from a muscle injury and trained regularly with the rest of the group on Thursday.
Roma aim to bounce back from a 3-2 defeat to Venezia ahead of the international break and are desperate to pick up a win.
Mourinho’s men arrive from a run of one win in seven games and sit fifth in the table after 12 games.
