“It was a great victory. We suffered for it and we deserved it,” Pecchia told reporters post-match.
“The table has tightened up, but there is still a lot of football to play.
“We need to keep believing we can stay up, it is still there to be taken. I have great faith in my group, we can do it.”
Pecchia reserved special words of praise for match-winner Valoti.
“Valoti? I am happy for him, he has the ability to arrive in front of goal and be dangerous.”
