“We suffered so much in the first half. It was only to be expected we’d be under pressure here, but there were situations where we could’ve hurt them on the counter and we didn’t take them,” the Coach told Mediaset Premium.
“It felt like we were beaten before we even started. It’s true we faced a side that pushed hard, but we went too deep and when there were spaces to counter, we didn’t. We were too timid in our approach.
“We are five points away from safety. We’ve had problems this season, but we are in the running. Those ahead of us are going slowly and we’ve got time to catch up, but only if we accelerate now.”
