Giampaolo Pazzini spilled the beans on his Milan future, rivalry with Mario Balotelli and what makes Max Allegri special.

The striker is out of action for the next five months after undergoing surgery on his right knee.

“I am staying at Milan, even if you hear so many rumours at this time of year,” he said during a media event.

“There is no rivalry with Balotelli. He’s a good lad and I’ve never had problems with him. If anything, we have a good rapport. You’ll see that in future he’ll do even more for the team.

“Allegri is the right Coach for Milan because he is able to control the group and give us all a sense of calm.

“He’s also great fun and I love it when he makes jokes in his Livorno dialect. I am Tuscan too, so I start laughing, then look round and realise Boateng and De Jong have no idea what he said!”

Former Sampdoria, Fiorentina and Inter striker Pazzini also looked back at the toughest challenges of his career.

“Fabio Cannavaro, Alessandro Nesta and Thiago Silva were the best defenders I ever came across.”
