Milan’s Giampaolo Pazzini has underlined the quality of Italy and Torino centre-back Angelo Ogbonna.
“I’ve trained alongside Ogbonna with the national side,” the striker told Tuttosport ahead of this weekend’s game against Toro.
“He is the prototype of the modern defender – a great physique, but also good technique. He likes to bring the ball out of defence with his head held high.
“He’s a young guy too and I believe that he could play for any side.”
The central defender may be on the market at the end of the season, but Pazzini insists that he himself won’t be involved in another move after his switch from Inter last summer.
“You can take me off the market,” he underlined. “I’m staying here. I’m really happy at Milan, just being able to help this team is enough for me.
“It is better to play in less games for Milan than in more games for any other club.”
