“It's been incredible, because I've felt that everyone is behind me, not only my teammates but the fans too.
“Inter have always had lots of fantastic players and they have won everything but now, in a moment when we're not doing very well and I'm not scoring, I felt the fans' affection all the same.
“That helps me to work better.”
The footballer then explained of his reluctance to be found answering questions in front of the camera or with a microphone.
“I don't really like giving interviews and speaking too much because sometimes you speak to professional people, and in that case there's no problem, but other times your words get distorted, and that's never nice.
“In general I'm not overly keen on talking. And with all the games we have, it's not easy to find something interesting to say every three days.”
