The former Fiorentina man, signed in 2010 from the Viola, has appeared in 33 Serie A matches this season.
“We’re in tenth place in the standings and we want to finish the season well so Sunday will be important,” he added ahead of the Palermo tie.
“This match remains key because we want to keep our position in the standings.
“Palermo may already be relegated, but they will want to finish their last home match well so they will be motivated.”
