Now Gazzetta di Parma reports that several players have decided to proceed with formal notice against the club, which would send it into administration.

President Giampietro Manenti is due to meet with the town’s mayor on Friday, but is so far refusing to start the process for a controlled administration.

The Ducali players have indicated that they may not play any more games this season if they and the club’s staff are not paid.

In that eventuality, since more than half the season has been played, every club which has still to play Parma would be awarded a 3-0 walkover.
