The 25-year-old’s valuation, however, has significantly increased thanks to the Italian international’s nine goals in 22 League games so far this term.
“The boy can play for any club in the world,” Parma President Tommaso Ghirardi told Radio CRC on Monday.
“He’s confirmed himself as a player, he’s started to score goals and I think he could be an important player in the future.
“The boy is part-owned with Juventus, but we’ll ask for a high price before we think about letting go of this footballer.”
There is a possibility that Juve will want to buy the player back, but a fee will have to be agreed with the Gialloblu first.
If an agreement isn’t reached then his future could be decided by a blind auction between the two Serie A sides.
