Stefano Pioli's men lined up in a friendly tournament in Bressanone on Saturday night, playing two games lasting 45 minutes each.

They defeated United Arab Emirates side Al-Ain 2-0 thanks to goals from Fabrizio Miccoli and Giulio Migliaccio.

The team played their new 3-4-1-2 system and did well with summer signing Eran Zahavi earning the penalty that Miccoli converted.

Israel international Zahavi made a cracking debut, going close to a couple more goals before Migliaccio got on the end of Miccoli's corner.

Palermo changed their line-up for the second mini-match, a 4-1 victory over local side Bressanone.

Mauricio Pinilla took centre stage here by scoring a hat-trick.
