Palermo have released striker Joao Silva on a free transfer, the club has announced.
The Portuguese forward arrived in Sicily last summer, but made just one Serie A appearance for Beppe Iachini’s team.
“The club announces it has cancelled the player Joao Silva’s contract by mutual consent.” the Rosanero confirmed in a short statement.
Silva has also been on the books at Everton, though he failed to make an appearance for the Toffees, and played for Bari before moving to Palermo.
