Palermo have presented their financial guarantees to the Lega Serie B and local council, but as it is six days past the deadline, could be rejected.
The club published the paperwork on its official website this evening, after sending it to the various authorities, including the Mayor of Palermo.
However, multiple sources report it could all be in vain, because the deadline was six days ago.

Palermo claimed they were “the victims of fraud” when the broker they hired to arrange the financial guarantee with a Bulgarian insurance company never even started the work.
It’s not just that financial guarantee that is the problem, because Palermo also failed to pay outstanding wages to the squad and didn’t pay the €500,000 fine awarded for financial irregularities.
The Sicilians have promised to appeal if they are excluded from the 2019-20 Serie B season, but their situation looks very difficult indeed.
If Palermo do not register, then Venezia are next in line to take their place, having been relegated via the play-offs.
