Roma’s negotiations with Real Madrid are continuing over the future of Fernando Gago, which could include a swap with Pablo Daniel Osvaldo.
The Argentine midfielder spent this season on loan at the Stadio Olimpico and impressed enough for the club to keep him.
However, according to Sky Sport Italia there are problems in the negotiation process and another meeting has been set up for next week.
It is reported Roma have offered €2.5m to buy out Gago, but Real Madrid are holding out for at least €5m.
The Giallorossi could potentially bridge that gap by including striker Osvaldo as part of the deal.
It’s claimed Jose Mourinho would like the Italian international at Real Madrid.
