Now retired defender Pancaro wore the Biancocelesti jersey from 1997 to 2003, then played for Milan from 2003 to 2005.
“Vladimir Petkovic will certainly want to go for the victory, but Massimiliano Allegri will do the same,” assured Pancaro.
“Allegri will be confident in the knowledge he has a strong Milan side in his hands who are on their way up and rediscovered enthusiasm after a difficult start.
“I suppose the Rossoneri have a slight advantage, as they are playing at San Siro this evening.”
Mario Balotelli is out injured, though Pancaro eyes an unusual suspect as the key figure, their 20-year-old right-back.
“De Sciglio is destined for greatness. He is an extraordinary player and someone like this is born once every 20 years.”
