Roma fell to their fourth game without a win on Saturday as Cagliari came back from two goals down, despite ending the match with nine men.
Nonetheless, Olsen told reporters: “I have faith. We’ll keep fighting, in every training session.
“I still believe. I still believe in my teammates and I believe in this club. We didn’t talk much in the dressing room at the end of the game.
“We were all angry. We can still reach fourth place, but we have to improve and start winning games.
“I don’t know what happened, but it didn’t have to happen. It’s hard for me to explain, words fail me. We should have killed the game sooner.
“What happened at 2-0? We had a chance to kill the game off and could’ve scored more goals in the second half.
“After that, any team who force the issue late on are dangerous, from free kicks, corners. Anything can happen in the last few minutes, but the problem is that we should’ve killed the game off sooner.
“Even 1-0 should’ve been enough. It’s even better at 2-0, but we had to take the chances we had to kill the game off.
“We had many before their first goal went it, but we didn’t exploit them and we were punished.”
