Ajax have announced Amin Younes will spend the rest of the season with them after postponing his transfer to Napoli.

He had been ready to join Napoli immediately, but his agent explained there was a change of heart due to “serious family issues.”
It’s reported his grandfather is very ill and, as he is based just across the border in Germany, Younes preferred to remain close by in Amsterdam.
Ajax released a statement this evening confirming he will resume training with the team on Friday.
“The winger was given permission last week to travel to Italy with a view to a possible transfer. Due to personal circumstances, Younes chose to abandon the move.
“He then returned to Amsterdam, where he had conversations with Marc Overmars and Erik ten Hag. The German international will stay with Ajax for the current campaign.”
Although it is still believed Younes will join Napoli as a free agent come the end of the season, there are rumours he could negotiate a new contract with Ajax.
