Udinese have officially confirmed a contract extension for French striker Cyril Thereau.
The 32-year-old’s current deal was due to expire at the end of the season, but the former Chievo man will now remain at Stadio Friuli until 2018.
“Udinese Calcio announces that it has extended our agreement with French footballer Cryril Thereau until 2018,” a statement confirmed.
“Cyril will therefore wear the black and white jersey for two more seasons beyond the current campaign.”

Thereau joined the Zebrette from Chievo last summer, and went on to score 10 goals in 37 Serie A games last season.
The forward has scored once in this campaign so far, the winner at Juventus Stadium on the opening day.
