Spartak Moscow have sacked Coach and former Juventus defender Massimo Carrera after a poor start to the season.
Sunday’s 3-2 defeat to lowly Arsenal Tula was the final straw for Spartak as the result left them seven points behind leaders Zenit St Petersburg.
The Russians also failed to qualify for the Champions League group stage and have yet to win a game in the Europa League this season.
Carrera made almost 800 appearances as a defender for the likes of Bari, Juve and Atalanta, as well as turning out for Italy once.
