Lazio have announced that Coach Stefano Pioli has extended his contract until 2017, with the option for a further year.
The former Bologna boss took the Aquile from ninth to third last season, qualifying for the preliminary round of the Champions League, as well as reaching the Coppa Italia final.
“SS Lazio announces that it has extended the contract with Coach Stefano Pioli until 30 June 2017,” the Biancocelesti said in a statement.
“S.S. Lazio will have the option to prolong the contract of Coach Pioli until 30 June 2018.”
