Newcastle United have officially signed Achraf Lazaar from Palermo for a reported €3.5m fee.
The news had been reported several days ago and he flew out for his medical on Friday.
“The 24-year-old Morocco international left-back has put pen to paper on a five-year deal at St. James' Park,” read a statement.
“I am very happy to be at Newcastle United," the Morocco international told nufc.com.

Former Napoli Coach Rafa Benitez welcomed Lazaar to the Magpies.
