Roma have officially sold Gervinho to Hebei China Fortune FC for €18m, plus another €1m in bonuses.
The Ivorian striker was pictured yesterday holding the club’s shirt, but the transfer was only made official today.
“AS Roma can today confirm that forward Gervinho has joined Hebei China Fortune FC,” read a statement.

“AS Roma can today confirm that forward Gervinho has joined Hebei China Fortune FC,” read a statement.
“The 28-year-old Ivorian has signed for the Chinese side on a permanent deal for a fee of €18 million after two and a half seasons with AS Roma.
“An additional €1 million could be paid depending on the Chinese club's and the player's performances.
“Gervinho moved to the Italian capital in the summer of 2013 from Arsenal, making his competitive debut for the Giallorossi on 25 August in the 2-0 win at Livorno.
“He opened his goalscoring account for the club with the second goal in a 2-0 win at Sampdoria in the league on 25 September 2013.
“During his time in Rome, the Côte d'Ivoire international made 88 appearances in all competitions, scoring 26 times. Gervinho hit seven goals in 17 matches this term.
“His last appearance for Roma came in the 1-1 home draw against AC Milan in Serie A on 9 January 2016.”
