Crotone have officially appointed former Italy midfielder Giovanni Stroppa as their new Coach.
A statement on Crotone’s official website confirms Stroppa has signed a two-year contract with the club, with the option for a third season.
The 50-year-old comes from Foggia, whom he lead to a ninth-place finish in Serie B last season, and played four times for Italy, as well as turning out for the likes of Milan, Lazio, Udinese and Genoa.
He replaces Walter Zenga, who left the Calabrians after their relegation to the second tier.
