Cagliari have officially signed Paul-Jose M’Poku from Standard Liege, so Victor Ibarbo can join Roma.
The Sardinians announced the news this evening, securing the 22-year-old on a paid loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
M’Poku was born in Kinshasha, but grew up in the Standard Liege youth academy, also playing for Tottenham and Leyton Orient.
He scored four goals in 18 games for the Belgium Under-21 side.

The more important element of this move is that it opens the door for Roma to sign Victor Ibarbo from Cagliari.
A deal is already in place to take the Colombia international on loan with mandatory option to buy for €15m.
