Udinese confirmed Inter “are not the only club” who made an offer for Dusan Basta this summer.

Since Walter Mazzarri was appointed Coach of the Nerazzurri, they have been heavily linked with a bid for the Croatian, who is accustomed to the 3-5-2 system.

“I read in the newspapers that a deal had been done, but I can assure you nothing has been defined,” Udinese President Franco Soldati told FCInterNews.

“Inter aren’t the only club to have asked us for him, as we’ve received requests from many Italian and overseas teams.

“The lad is happy here, like all our other players. He never asked us to leave.”

Another transfer target is Mauricio Isla, although he is waiting to hear whether Juventus will take up their option to make the loan permanent.

“The Bianconeri haven’t decided what to do with Isla. It’s all in their hands,” added Soldati.
