Inter have received reassuring news regarding Lautaro Martinez, who missed Argentina’s 0-0 draw against Paraguay.
The Argentine striker missed the 0-0 match against Paraguay and Inter feared he would return injured to the squad after the international break.
But the Nerazzurri have, according to Sky Sport Italia, been in touch with Argentina, who reassured Inter that Lautaro Martinez is only suffering from fatigue in the thigh muscles and the stop was only a precaution.
He will be back in training today and return to Lionel Scaloni’s squad, at the coach’s disposal for the next games against Uruguay and Peru.
Inter return to action against Lazio at the Olimpico on October 16, with a home game against FC Sheriff Tiraspol in the Champions League three days later.
