Torino President Urbano Cairo says there’s been “no contact” with Monaco for Andrea Belotti, but there could be a new signing.
The principality club are expected to sell Kylian Mbappé to Paris Saint-Germain for a fee of around €180m, and it has been suggested that Belotti could be his replacement, given his €100m release clause.
“There hasn’t been any contact,” Cairo told reporters after the Granata’s Primavera beat Milan tonight.

“As I’ve already said, I want to keep him and maybe do something else on the transfer market.
“What do I expect from the last few days of the transfer window? To work on an incoming signing and maybe some players who don’t have much space here could leave.
“Marco Benassi? We were fond of him, but in this formation he wouldn’t have found space. He was our captain and we wish him well [at Fiorentina].”
