Milan’s friendly against AIK has been scrapped – because Zlatan Ibrahimovic may be a Paris Saint-Germain player by then.
The Swedish outfit were set to take on the Diavolo at the Rasunda Stadium on August 12, but the tie has been called off.
“There is a risk that many would be disappointed if we can not guarantee Zlatan’s appearance,” stated Mimi Nordling-Petterson, a representative for Tailor Events who were to organise the match.
AIK managing director Thomas Edselius added: “Unfortunately, a number of external circumstances meant that we took a joint decision not to stage the match this time.”
Swedish ace Ibrahimovic is currently in talks with PSG about a move to the French capital after Milan accepted a €65m offer for the striker and centre-back Thiago Silva.
Some reports this afternoon are suggesting that PSG have agreed to offer Ibra a three-year deal worth a basic €12.5m a campaign.
