Atalanta cannot count on talented forward Rasmus Hojlund for their clash with Juventus, leaving the Dane out of their match-day squad.
The 20-year-old Danish forward has shined for Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad since arriving from Sturm Graz last summer in a deal worth around €17.2m, immediately justifying his price tag.
Across his 30 appearances for Atalanta this season, Hojlund has scored eight goals and provided three assists, instantly attracting the attention of top clubs across Italy.
Gasperini confirmed his Atalanta squad for their clash with Juventus, leaving out Hojlund. The Dane suffered a muscle issue in the warm-up of their win over Spezia and is still recovering from the injury, forcing him to miss the match.
Ademola Lookman has also been left out of the squad, still dealing with a muscle injury.
When la Dea met the Old Lady back in January, they hold them to a 3-3 draw in Turin, a game that’ll give them some confidence ahead of the clash in Bergamo.
