Juventus have been linked with signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, while Milan want Lille’s defender Sven Botman, but Newcastle are reportedly interested in both players.

The Old Lady is looking for a new striker as Alvaro Morata has reached an agreement with Barcelona over an 18-month loan deal.

The striker is aware that Juventus won’t make his move permanent at the end of the season, so he is keen to join Xavi at Barcelona.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is one of the strikers monitored by Juventus although the Arsenal star is not among their priority targets.

According to the Daily Star, Newcastle hope to sign the Gabon international on loan with an option to buy in the region of £20m (circa €24m). According to the report, the Magpies have already made contact with the former Milan academy player.

Juventus consider Aubameyang as an alternative to Arek Milik and Mauro Icardi and are only open to getting new players on loan.

Newcastle are also interested in signing Lille defender Sven Botman, who is Milan’s main target to replace the injured Simon Kjaer.

Lille’s initial price tag is €30m, but according to Sky Sport Italia and Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri hope the Ligue 1 side would lower their economic demands for the 21-year-old. Milan would sign the player on a permanent deal and their No.1 alternative is PSG defender Abdou Diallo.

  1. Botman might be worth taking for a Serie A side. But Aubameyang’s best days are probably gone. And he’s turned into your typical modern waster.
