Newcastle United have given Lille an ultimatum regarding their offer for Milan target Sven Botman, frustrated by the French side’s conduct.
The 22-year-old Dutch centre back seems ready for the jump to a new club following a good two-year cycle with Lille, where he helped win the Ligue 1 title. Contracted to the French club until 2025, Lille have been in talks with Milan and Newcastle for a while now regarding a possible summer transfer.
As reported by The Telegraph, Newcastle have issued Lille an ultimatum regarding their €35m offer. The French club reportedly agreed to this fee before raising their price to €42m, something not appreciated by the English side.
The Magpies have made it clear that no higher offer will be submitted, so Lille will now have to decide whether to accept or not. Milan are closely observing the situation, keen to sign the Dutch centre back this summer.

As a youth player such as price demanding that is overpriced a lot, because he may not 100 percent perform well. Besides, he is obviously not prefer to come that is lack of loyalty ! As 6 ft. 4 inch tall that will be good managed header like Dan Burn but the disadvantage is footwork and turn around his body would be slowly ! That is trouble once facing intelligent & agile players that would be easily to be crossed by them.
