Alessandro Nesta backs Napoli for the Scudetto win and discusses MLS colleague Andrea Pirlo.
The former defender is one of several football veterans who continued his career overseas, and he is currently coaching Miami FC.
“I like [Napoli Coach Maurizio] Sarri, he's proposing the most spectacular football,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “Napoli-Fiorentina was fun.
“I said that Juventus would win the championship, but it looks like I was wrong. My ranking as of now is Napoli, Fiorentina, Roma and Inter.”

Nesta then went on to discuss one of his former teammates at Milan, Azzurri legend Andrea Pirlo.
“He told me he's keeping up wonderfully in New York. He was sorry he was left out of the playoffs.
“Let's say that he's surrounded by rather poor players, in particular the defenders. They fielded him three days after his holidays.
“You'll see next season, when he'll be able to go through the full preparation. It's going to be something else.
“I chose to get into coaching when I understood that I wanted to stay in the world of football. This has always been my environment.
“For a year, once a month I travelled from Miami to Coverciano and I learned from master [Renzo] Ulivieri.
“Coaching a big team? I think in all new activities you have to start from the bottom, it's fundamental to learn the ropes and understand whether you're skilled at it.
“As for [Clarence] Seedorf and [Filippo] Inzaghi, who started by coaching Milan, if a big team calls you it's impossible to turn them down.
“It's an opportunity that might not return. It's a gamble, but you don't have much of a choice. Sometimes it works.
“[Pep] Guardiola went from the youth teams to the first team and won the triplete with Barcelona.
“Or you can end up fired, like Clarence and Pippo.”
