Napoli confirm full-back Kevin Malcuit has gone under the knife for a torn anterior cruciate ligament and is expected to be out for six months.
The 28-year-old sustained the injury during Sunday’s 1-1 Serie A draw with SPAL.
He had surgery at the Villa Stuart clinic in Rome this morning to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
It’s widely reported this type of injury will keep Malcuit on the sidelines for approximately six months.
