The agent of Lorenzo Insigne has confirmed that the youngster will be part of the Napoli squad for 2012-13.
The Italian Under-21 international will be recalled to the Stadio San Paolo after loans spells under new Roma boss Zdenek Zeman at Foggia and then Pescara.
There was a suggestion that the 21-year-old would spend next season out on loan again, but the Azzurri are ready to give him a chance.
“The club has been very clear,” agent Antonio Ottaiano told Calcio News 24. “Lorenzo will stay at Napoli.
“He will join up with his teammates for pre-season and he’ll be one of the four attackers at the disposal of boss Walter Mazzarri.
“We’re very happy about this and you’ll see that Lorenzo will have a great season.”
One of the reasons why another spell away from Naples was suggested revolved around the possible lack of space in the plans of Mazzarri.
“There will be lots of opportunities to play with the championship, the Coppa Italia and the Europa League,” the representative added.
“We’ll still be happy even if the club decide to bring in a fifth attacker.”
Insigne is a Neapolitan who is a product of the youth system. Napoli are expected to sell Ezequiel Lavezzi to Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
