Corriere dello Sport writes today that President Aurelio De Laurentiis intends to keep strengthening the squad in the market this summer and a string of players have been linked.
The newspaper believes the names in pole position are those of Caceres, who will leave Juve on a free transfer at the end of the season, and midfielder Klaassen, who the Azzurri have been tracking for some time.
However, players in every position are being considered according to the outlet, with Atalanta’s Marco Sportiello and Verona’s Pierluigi Gollini being touted as reserve goalkeepers to Pepe Reina.
In defence there is long-time target Nikola Maksimovic of Torino, River Plate’s Emmanuel Mammana and Atalanta’s Andrea Conti, as well as new target Ramino Funes Mori of Everton.
The paper says that another La Dea player of interest is midfielder Marten De Roon, while Verona’s Artur Ionita is also an option.
Valencia pair Andre Gomes and Dani Parejo are reportedly being tracked but there will be fierce competition for the duo, while Udinese’s Piotr Zielinski is an option after impressing while on loan at Empoli.
In attack, Pescara youngster Gianluca Lapadula is joined by Carpi’s Kevin Lasagna and Vitesse starlet Milot Rashica as possible reinforcements.
