Manchester United have given Scott McTominay the green light to travel to Ialy for a medical with Napoli after the two clubs reached an agreement for the Scotland international’s transfer over the weekend.

Napoli have everything wrapped up for McTominay deal

Napoli have agreed to pay United a fee of €30m for their academy graduate. There will also be a 10% sell-on clause included as part of the deal.

Gianluca Di Marzio adds that the two clubs have now exchanged documents for McTominay’s transfer. He is expected to travel to Naples on Wednesday and could have his medical either later on in the day.

McTominay is into the final year of his contract with Manchester United, expiring on June 30, 2025.

Napoli are also expecting former United striker Romelu Lukaku to travel to Naples on Tuesday after the Partenopei agreed a deal with Chelsea for his permanent return to Serie A.

There could also still be a deal to be had with Brighton for fellow Scotland international, Billy Gilmour.
