Napoli’s lawyer explains Aurelio De Laurentiis’ purchase of Bari, and confirms the club is “very disappointed” by the state of the Stadio San Paolo.
The stadium is undergoing renovations, which will see the Partenopei play away from home in their first match of the Serie A season.
Today though pictures were released of the ongoing works, and it appears the ground is far from ready to host matches.

“I can only say the President is very disappointed with the situation he found,” Mattia Grassani said on Radio Crc, before discussing De Laurentiis’ purchase of Bari.
“Bari was a farsighted deal. If there’s a winning ride then De Laurentiis will have to make a choice [as he can’t own two Serie A clubs].
“That said, he’ll certainly make proposals to the FIGC and CONI to change the current rules.”
