Napoli say they are ‘confident’ Kalidou Koulibaly will have his two-match ban lifted after his court appearance on Friday.
Koulibaly was subjected to monkey chants during Napoli’s 1-0 defeat to Inter on Boxing Day yet came away with a two-match ban after he protested a second bookable offence.
The defender appealed the suspension at a court hearing with Napoli lawyer Mattia Grassani, who told ANSA: “We await the verdict, we’re confident.”
