Napoli are reportedly close to agreeing a €23m move for Lazio winger Antonio Candreva, but Inter and Chelsea hope he’ll say no.

According to Calciomercato.com and Mediaset Premium, Presidents Aurelio De Laurentiis and Claudio Lotito are on the verge of completing the deal.

It’d be worth €23m, including bonuses, which is almost at the €25m asking price.

Candreva impressed with Italy at Euro 2016 and was sorely missed when injured.

However, the player is yet to give the all-clear to Napoli and it’s no secret that Inter have been courting him for years.

Chelsea also emerged as a possible destination so he could reunite with ex-Italy boss Antonio Conte.

It remains to be seen whether Napoli will agree personal terms with Candreva, as this is an area where the club has notorious issues.

President De Laurentiis draws up very complex and binding agreements based around image rights that have been known to stall transfers.
