Napoli have reportedly checked out Fiorentina defender German Pezzella as an alternative to Roma’s Kostas Manolas.
Manolas has seemingly given the green light to joining Napoli, but they have yet to negotiate a fee lower than his €36m release clause with Roma.
With that in mind, Calciomercato.it claims the Partenopei are looking at Pezzella.
The 27-year-old has been a regular for Fiorentina since arriving for Real Betis in 2017, but the website claims he could be signed for ‘much less’ than the Greek.
