Napoli have officially confirmed the Partenopei will not be in Dimaro, Trentino, for their pre-season camp ahead of 2020-21.
The new location has been set to Castel di Sangro in Abruzzo, as the club announced the decision in a press release today.
“SSCN and Trentino have together decided to renounce the 2020 pre-season training camp in Dimaro – Folgarida,” the club wrote on their official websites.

“The resumption of the official competitions of the current 2019-20 season made it impossible to identify the usual period of the retreat set in July and prevented the organisation from of this event with the usual known operational effectiveness and appreciated by the club of President Aurelio De Laurentiis and thousands of Azzurri fans all over Europe who have been attending this wonderful corner of Trentino for 10 years.
“It should be emphasised that the Val di Sole, like the rest of Trentino, is fully operational and as welcoming the guests who choose it for their holiday destination as has happened in the last 10 years by Napoli and our fans.
“In view of the 2020-21 season, Napoli will carry out a preparation period in Abruzzo, in Castel di Sangro.
“In 2021-20 pre-season, the team will return to the retreat in Dimaro Folgarida.”
