Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan is reportedly close to joining Fabio Cannavaro’s Guangzhou Evergrande for €50m.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, talks between Nainggolan, Cannavaro and Roma boss Eusebio Di Francesco have already taken place.
From that, Guangzhou would have already negotiated a €50m deal, structured as a loan with a compulsory purchase option before June 30.

The newspaper adds the Belgian will earn €12m a year with the Chinese champions if he makes the move, while the transfer would address the Giallorossi’s “budget problems”.
Nainggolan’s future at the Olimpico has been shrouded in doubt ever since he was forced to apologise for smoking and drinking alcohol in a video posted on New Year’s Eve.
The 30-year-old would replace Paulinho at Guangzhou, the former Tottenham Hotspur man having joined Barcelona for €40m last summer.
