Mario Balotelli’s January switch to Milan should be no big deal for Inter fans, says former Nerazzurri boss Jose Mourinho.
The latter worked with Balotelli at San Siro before the player was transferred to Manchester City in 2010. He returned to Italy with the Beneamata’s city rivals last month.
“When he was at Inter he had already put a Milan shirt on,” the Real Madrid tactician told Sky Sport Italia. “Therefore he will be happy.
“It is not a problem for us Interisti that Mario is now at Milan, it has no effect,” the Portuguese continued.
“Seeing Javier Zanetti in a Milan shirt would have been the real catastrophe, not Balotelli…”
The Italian international, 22, has scored three goals in his two League games for the Diavolo since his arrival.
