Former President Massimo Moratti predicts the Suning Group “will bring good results” to Inter.
The ex-patron sold his remaining shares in the club to allow the Chinese conglomerate to take a majority stake, with Erick Thohir remaining as President and minority shareholder.
“My opinion on this is positive, I think it’ll bring good results,” Moratti told Chinese news agency Xinhua.

“Suning will be good in terms of internationalising the Nerazzurri, but at the same time it’ll be important to have respect for the Italian fans, the cultural context and the team.
“Nearly all Italian teams operate with balance sheets in the red, and it happened when I was in charge of Inter.
“However, by means of effective business operations such as increased sales, investment in the club and organising events, Inter won’t have serious problems in this regard.
“With control of the balance sheet, these issues will be gradually resolved.
“We’re talking about a group with enormous potential to develop and which will provide different perspectives for the future of Inter.”
