Juventus striker Alvaro Morata is on track to recover in time for the Derby d’Italia with Inter on January 17.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Spain international is progressing well after skipping the wins over Udinese and Milan with a muscular issue.
He won’t be ready for this weekend against Sassuolo, but Morata should be back as a substitute for a run-out in the Coppa Italia Round of 16 tie with Genoa on January 13.
If he does well there, then Morata could be in the starting XI against Inter on January 17.
