Many different options have been mentioned, most of them abroad with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Zenit St Petersburg making offers.
However, Del Piero has hinted he would like a move to North America, where the MLS clubs have welcomed the likes of David Beckham and Thierry Henry.
It is reported Montreal Impact have prepared a $5m per season contract to join them in the MLS.
